The honest method: these are the players where our season projections disagree most with average draft position (ADP). We rank each player by projected points within his position, then compare that to where the market is actually drafting him. Bigger gap, stronger signal. No narratives, just the numbers.

Frequently asked questions
Who are the best fantasy sleepers in 2026?
Our top sleepers are players our projections rank well above their average draft position, including Brian Thomas (WR), Keaton Mitchell (RB), Tre' Harris (WR), Parker Washington (WR). Each is projected for a better positional finish than where drafters are taking him, so you get starter-level output at a discount.
What makes a player a fantasy bust or overvalued pick?
A bust is a player the market drafts well ahead of where our projections rank him. When ADP implies a much stronger finish than the player is projected to deliver, the draft cost outweighs the expected points, and you are usually better off waiting or taking a sleeper at that spot.
How are these sleepers and busts calculated?
For every draftable player we compare two ranks: our projected positional rank (from projected fantasy points) and his positional rank by average draft position. Players we rank at least 6 spots higher than the market are sleepers; players the market ranks at least 6 spots higher than us are busts. It is a transparent, repeatable calculation, not a pundit list.
