To get the two cookies: log in to ESPN in your browser, open DevTools, then Application, then Cookies, then espn.com, and copy the espn_s2 and SWID values. We store them encrypted so your roster can keep refreshing, and they are deleted when you delete your account.
How ESPN works here. Your cookies are stored encrypted and used only to re-read your own league, so a private ESPN roster stays up to date on its own. ESPN does expire these cookies every so often, and when that happens your roster stops updating until you paste fresh ones here. Public ESPN leagues and Sleeper leagues never need cookies at all.
